You've heard it before, we are living in unprecedented times. Who knew that at the beginning of this year, we would be sheltering at home as not only a city, or even state, but as an entire global population? Just because we're required to stay at home this year, there is no rule that says we can't bring the party inside! The party- planning extrovert in me is struggling with no events to plan or parties to throw, so I found these photos on Pinterest + I thought it would be a perfect way to inspire your own at-home Cinco de Mayo themed fiesta! Get ready to cook up some yummy taco meat, blow up some balloons + turn on some of your favorite Spanish inspired playlist to celebrate your own little fiesta! (And now you don't have to feel guilty about taking that little siesta in the middle of your party because you're stuffed!) Here are some ideas for your at home fiesta: -Create your own DIY taco bar with tortillas, taco meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream + guacamole. Pair with some refried beans, Mexican rice, chips + salsa! -Toss up some fun balloons, banners, (maybe even a piñata!) + decor to make it feel festive. It can also double as a cool photo op backdrop -Set up a festive tablescape with a Serape table runner or a bright colored scarf + decorate the table with succulents or even blooms from your yard or Trader Joe's. Even simple touches like this can make such a big difference! -Make your own festive drink or make it easy + order Jaritos online -Follow this easy churro recipe straight from the Disney parks to create a yummy dessert Here are some helpful links for some easy fiesta fun below: Similar TACO Balloons | Paper Festival Banner | Mexican Serape Table Runner | Mini Llama Piñata | Taco Pinata | Balloon Pump | So you don't pass out blowing up all the balloons by yourself! If you live in the OC area + don't feel like making a dessert, order some cute cookies or a cake from my sweet friend Kacy here!
